RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES
Alpha Delta Pi’s National philanthropy is Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). A Ronald McDonald House is that “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. Since our partnership began in 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has raised more than $12 million for this amazing cause.
We are honored to provide weekly service at both the Long Branch and New Brunswick RMHC’s in New Jersey. Gamma Pi donates their time here preparing and cooking meals for the families, scheduling arts and crafts, and helping with events at RMH.
Throughout the year, we host events to help raise money for RMH. Some of these events are Pumpkin Bowling, ADPIhop, bake sales, and our biggest event King of Diamonds, which is a male pageant. These events raise over a thousand dollars for the Ronald Mcdonald House each year.
Aside from our dedication to RMH, Gamma Pi supports and participates in Tillys Toy Drive, Light the Night, the Breast Cancer walk, and Pass-it-Along.
